YOUR INVENTORY DATA
Depot lets you catalog your equipment — names, serial numbers, photos, values,
notes and similar details. This information is stored locally on your device
[and, if you enable it, synced through your personal iCloud account]. It belongs
to you. We do not operate servers that collect or store your inventory, and we
do not have access to it.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT Account information. To create a Depot account, we collect your name and email address. We use these to set up and manage your account and to sign you in.
Your inventory data. The gear you catalog in Depot — names, serial numbers, photos, values, notes and similar details — is stored [on your device and synced to your account / on our servers as part of your account]. It belongs to you.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use your information to:
create, secure and manage your account;
provide and sync the app's features;
respond to your support requests;
send important service messages about your account or the app.
Under the EU GDPR, we process this data to perform our agreement with you, and on the basis of your consent where it applies.
HOW WE STORE YOUR DATA
Account and synced data are stored and processed using Supabase, our cloud
hosting provider, which acts as our processor under a data-processing agreement.
Supabase hosts data and may use sub-processors to provide its service.
PURCHASES
Depot offers in-app purchases [and/or a subscription]. Payments are processed by
Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple may
share limited, non-identifying transaction information with us so we can deliver
and support your purchase, in line with Apple's terms.
ANALYTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS
Depot does not include third-party analytics or tracking. If you choose to share
crash and usage data with Apple in your device settings, Apple provides us with
aggregated, non-identifying diagnostics that help us improve the app.
SHARING
If you use Depot to share a kit, package or inventory, that information is sent at
your direction to the recipient you choose. You decide what to share and with whom.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General
Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or
delete your personal data. Because your inventory is stored on your own device
[and in your iCloud], you can view, edit, export, or delete it at any time within
the app. For any questions or requests, contact us below.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise
the effective date above and post the updated version at this URL.
